This page describes settings of GrandNode. After choosing Configuration -> Settings -> General Settings you will see following window:
Store closed - Defines if store is open or closed for customers
Default Store Theme - You can select here theme which will be set in your store.
Allow customers to select a theme - Defines if your customers are able to change store theme on their own
Logo - You can upload your logo here
Display EU cookie law warning - Check if you want to display EU cookie law warning.
Facebook Page URL - Enter your Facebook site address
Twitter Page URL - Enter your Twitter site address
Youtube channel URL - Enter your YouTube channel address
Google+ page URL - Enter your Google + site URL
Instagram page URL - Enter your Instagram page URL
LinkedIn page URL - Enter your LinkedIn page URL
Pinterest page URL - Enter your Pinterest page URL
Contact us page - stores the requests in the database - Check if you want to store requests in your database
Contact us page - "Subject" field - Check if you want to show "Subject" field in Contact us form.
Contact us page - Use system email - Check to use your system email as "From" field when sending emails from contact us page. Otherwise, customer email will be used (please note that some email services do not allow it).
Knowledge base enabled - Check if you want to use knowledge base system in your store.
Allow not registered users to leave comments - Check if you want to give unregistered users possibility to leave comments in articles.
Notify about new article comments - Check if you want to get notifications about new article comments.
Next tab is SEO Settings - after choosing it you will see following window:
Page title separator - Specify separator between store name and pages titles.
Page title SEO adjustment - Specify when pages titles should appears. If they come after or before store name.
Default title - It's default title of your store.
Default meta keywords - It's default keywords of your store.
Default meta description - It's default meta description.
Generate product META description - If you enable this setting, product META description will be generated automatically based on short description of your product. (if not set on the products details pages).
Convert non-western chars - Check if you want to cut accent marks in SEO titles.
Enable canonical URLs - The goal of the canonicalization process is to transform a URL into a canonical URL so it is possible to determine if two syntactically different URLs may be equivalent.
WWW prefix requirement - Defines if www is required when customers entering your store address.
CSS bundling and minification - Enables minification of CSS files
Twitter META tags - Check to generate Twitter META tags on product details page.
Open Graph META tags - Check to generate Open Graph META tags on the product details page.
Security settings tab
Encryption private key - The encryption private key used for storing sensitive data. NOTE: Please make backup when you want to change encryption key.
Admin are allowed IP - Enter here IP Addresses which will be allowed to enter admin area in your store,
Force SSL for all site pages - Default - SSL is not using by all pages, It's working on sensitive pages like login. Check to force using SSL on each page in your store.
Enable XSRF protection for admin area - Check to enable XSRF protection for admin area.
Enable XSRF protection for public store - Check to enable XSRF protection for public store.
Enable honeypot - Check to enable honeypot technique for registration page
Captcha enabled - Check to enable CAPTCHA protection in your store. Then choose where it should appear and enter public, private keys and reCAPTCHA version.
GrandNode supports reCAPTCHA v 2.0 and v 3.0 (since GrandNode 4.40). The whole guide to reCAPTCHA is available on official Google Developers site here: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/v3.html
Use Letter Page Size - If checked uses Letter page size for PDF documents. If not it uses A4 standard page size.
PDF logo - Image that will be displayed in PDF order invoices. A small image is recommended.
Disable PDF invoices for pending orders - If checked, customers won't be allowed to print PDF invoices for pending orders.
Invoice footer text (left column) - Enter the text that will appear at the bottom of generated invoices (left column).
Invoice footer text (right column) - Enter the text that will appear at the bottom of generated invoices (right column).
Use images for language selection - Check if you want to use images for language selection
SEO friendly URLs with multiple languages enabled - When enabled, your URLs will contains language prefix. For example http://yourstore.com/en/product-one
Automatically detect language - Check to automatically detect language based on a customer browser settings.
Load all locale resources on startup - When enabled, all locale resources will be loaded on application startup. The application start will be slower, but then all pages could be opened much faster.
Load all localized properties on startup - When enabled, all localized properties will be loaded on application startup. The application start will be slower, but then all pages could be opened much faster. It's used only when you have two or more languages.
Load all search engine friendly names on startup - When enabled, all slugs (search engine friendly names) will be loaded on application startup. The application will be slower, but then all pages could be opened much faster. Not recommended to enable when you have large catalog.
Here you can enable or disable full text.
Here you can activate Google Analytics integration. Enter your Private Key, Service AccountEmail and ViewID.
Please note that you need to add Service AccountEmail to your Google Analytics user list.
Media settings are responsible for all of the images settings in GrandNode, your store.
