Customer settings are divided into 5 sections, available in 5 different tabs.
'Usernames' enabled - check if you want to use usernames in your store.
Registration method - choose the registration method - standard, e-mail validation, admin approval, disabled.
Allow customers to upload avatars - check if you want to give possibility to upload avatars.
Show customers location - check if you want to show customers location on their account on board or comments.
Allow viewing of customer profiles - check if you want to allow viewing of customer profiles on community board or comments.
Allow users to delete account - check if you want to allow users to delete their accounts.
Allow users to export account - check if you want to allow users to export their accounts data.
Notify about new customer registration - check if you want to get notifications about new customer registrations.
Hide 'Downloadable products' tab - check if you want to hide "Downloadable products" tab from My Account section.
Hide 'Back in stock subscriptions' tab - check if you want to hide "Back in stock subscriptions" tab from My Account section.
Hide 'Auctions' tab - check if you want to hide "Auctions" tab from My Account section.
Hide 'Customer notes' tab - check if you want to hide "Downloadable products" tab from My Account section.
Customer name format - specify the customer name format - first name, email, username or last name.
Default password format - specify the default password format.
Password minimum length - determine the minimum password length.
Password lifetime - determine the password lifetime.
Unduplicated passwords number - determine the unduplicated passwords number.
Password recovery link. Days valid - specify the password recovery link lifetime - in days.
Maximum login failures - set the maximum login failures.
Hide newsletter box - check if you want to hide newsletter box in your store.
New customer has a free shipping for the first order - check if you want to give a free shipping for the first order for all customers
Store last visited page - check if you want to store last visited page by your customers
In this section you are able to manage the fields which are shown during the registration.
In this section you are able to manage the fields which are shown during the address creation.
In this section you are able to change the default store time zone or give customer possibility to choose it.
Please note that from the GrandNode 4.40 version default time zone is used to handle almost all of the Start/End Date Time settings in store. For example if you are create auction product, you don't have to enter end time in UTC time, just use the your time configured in Default time zone.
In this section you can allow or disallow auto registration with external authentication methods.
Customer notes are used to store additional information about customers. You can attach an invoice, attach a photo or whatever you want. If you have a sales specialist which is calling to your customers, he can use GrandNode as a CRM system. For example you can write down there a results of call and don't show it to customer.
